I bought this for my mother after seeing a bluebird in his backyard during a visit. This is a great little house built perfectly to size and location of ventilation openings on the bottom and back light. Of course I expect nothing less from a house in Audubon Society bird. The house is full of instructions on the correct path location of the house. The instructions also warn how to protect birds from predators and gives a little 'basic information on their feeding and nesting habits. It could not be easier for a birder the first time.I took her on March 23, and put him two days later. He was concerned that he had put on too late in the season, but the next day ... a pair of nesting introduced himself and began to build!
