I own two Yankee Flippers, one Whipper and one Dipper. Droll Yankee does make quality products and stands behind their warranties but the only one that is squirrel proof, excluding red squirrels, is the Flipper.Whipper. It's only squirrel resistant. Like the Dipper mentioned below the... -

This is a well built feeder but it doesn't keep all squirrels from eating at it. We have one pesky critter that gets each of his four paws on a separate perch and as they lower it places his face right at the opening so he can just hang there and eat. It IS entertaining, I'll admit, but not...

It is a well built power supply, but not to keep the squirrels from eating all that. We have a pesky critter that gets each of its four legs on a perch in the lower separate and puts his face in the opening, so you can just hang there and eat. It's funny, I admit, but not what you would expect from a unit to prevent the squirrels and birds to eat heavy, yes!

Whipper. It 's just squirrel resistant. As the wagon underneath the squirrels do the same exercise but this had resolved in one day than a week. Because it's easier for them to solve, simply because the perch are curved and so even when the trestles are fully turned down some of the perch still sticking out horizontally from the base, and is just enough for their feet to grab. If you are discussing right between the bar and I would recommend the Whipper Whipper because it holds some of the heaviest birds and it is easier for the Cardinals because of perch curve....
