The cages are very well-Xtreme price, given the size and the design is quite good, but the construction is pretty mediocre. The owners are fragile and our bowl arrived all bent up. The bowls themselves are lightweight plastic. The biggest problem, in my opinion, is that the main panels are tied together with a few easily accessible (and easily removable) bolts with nuts, so if your bird is not at all mechanically inclined, you could go home and find your bird buried under a pile of disassembled pieces cage. We use as our cages for the holidays, but do not use them as primary cage.
This cage is an excellent value! I was looking for parrot cages at the local level and found that small cages were going for the same price as this bigger cage. (Even when shipping is added) The shipping fee is a bargain considering that the information I received indicated a shipping weight of 180 pounds! Even if I found a cage like that, locally, would not be able to take home and would probably have to pay extra to have delivered the cage anyway. Assembly would still be necessary because the cage is mounted large....
