I have vivid memories of browsing through the Peterson's Birds of North America book in my childhood. My mother and I still look for rare birds and unusual. As a teacher of biology, having access to a detailed and comprehensive field guide to birds in our area is an absolute must. When I heard about the book version of the iPad Peterson, I knew I had a look at that for our readers MyMac.com.

True to form the paper version of the book, the version of the iPad Peterson Birds of North America is filled with rich illustrations and a wealth of information on birds living in the continental U.S. If you love bird watching will definitely be adding this application to the library.
